Murter Island

The island of Murter is distanced from Tribunj only 11 km to the village Tisno, which extends from parts of the island and partly on the mainland and connected by a drawbridge over the approximately 20-meter Murter Channel. Other villages are Jezera, Betina and villages of Murter, which is the administrative center of the island, and it houses the Administration of National Park Kornati.

The island of Murter, which is the largest island of the Sibenik archipelago, is known for its beautiful sandy beaches in picturesque coves. The highest peak of the island is Raduč with 125 m.

Murter is an ideal place for fans of water sports such as yachting, sailing and boat rides. Attraction is the nearby National park Kornati, which is a paradise for lovers of unspoilt countryside and Mediterranean climate.
