National park Krka

Skradin under which was called the most famous waterfalls on the Krka River, is distance 20 km from Tribunj . Canyon of the karst river Krka forme a number of systems of water cascades, from which is the longest waterfall Manojlovac, but the most famous are waterfalls Skradinski buk and Roški slap. On the way to the sea, the river Krka also forme the lake and just below Rošskýslap waterfall flows into the elongated Visovačko lake with small island with a Franciscan monastery from the 15th century in the center. The waterfall Skiradinski buk charms with 17 terraces, which belong to the most beautiful karst waterfalls in Europe and visitors can admire it through the system paths, viewing platforms and bridges across the river Krka. When visiting waterfalls Skradinski buk, tourists can see the turbine from the water plant in 1895, built by famous inventor Croatian origin Nikola Tesla.
